 NOTE :  In case of non-availability of suitable candidates from ‘Reserved Category’ the vacancy will be filled from amongst the General Category.  So General Category candidates may also apply for Reserved posts.

Last  Date For Application
8.         Last date for receipt of Filled-in-Application along with said enclosures in the school is 30 April 2022. Application received late (including postal delay)/ without deposition of application fee/ not in prescribed application form format will be summarily rejected without any intimation. No correspondence will be entertained.
How to apply:
Eligible and desirous candidates (Indian National only)  may apply to the Principal, Sainik School, Amaravathinagar, Pin- 642 102, Udumalpet Taluk, Tiruppur Districft (Tamil Nadu) in the prescribed application form  available for download in  our School website www.sainikschoolamaravathinagar.edu.in. The candidates are to enclose the following along with duly filled application form :

  1. Affix Pass port size photograph in the space provided in the Application form.

  2. Copies of Mark sheets, testimonials and experience certificates.

  3. A non-refundable Demand Draft for application fee of Rs. 500 or Rs.300, as applicable.

  4. A self addressed envelope (9” x 4”) duly affixing Rs.25/- worth postal stamp. 

  5. The applicant applying for Reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC(NCL)) are to attach a copy of caste category certificate issued by the concerned authority.

Please superscribe the envelope with the name of post applied for in BOLD letters. 

Application Fee:                
Applications should be accompanied by a  non-refundable Demand Draft  for Rs.500/- (Gen) and Rs.300/- (SC/ST) drawn in favour of ‘PRINCIPAL, SAINIK SCHOOL, AMARAVATHINAGAR’ payable at State Bank of India (SBI),  Amaravathinagar (Code 2191) Udumalpet Taluk, Tiruppur District.

 

Call Letters
Only short listed candidates will be called for selection process.  The names of shortlisted candidates will be published in the School Website.  The schedule of conduct of selection process will be intimated by email/SMS to the shortlisted candidates.  Call letters also will be despatched to the candidates by Registered post in the self-addressed envelopes submitted along with application.  Applicants are to clearly mention their Email ID and Mobile Number in the Application Form to enable the School to communicate schedule of selection at short notice to the shortlisted candidates.  No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the selection process.  Candidates will have to make their own arrangements for boarding and lodging for attending the selection process.. 

Structure of Selection Process :
Selection process will consist three steps i.e., written examination, Class Demonstration (for Academic staff only)/Skill/Trade tests and Personal Interview.  A candidate will be required to score minimum 33% marks to qualify for the next step of the selection process.  However, the minimum required marks may be increased upto 50% by the Board of Officers to shortlist the candidates for the next step of selection process.  Weightage for higher qualification and experience will be given.
Other Conditions:
(a)       Employment conditions/Service Rules are in consonance with Sainik Schools Society Rules and Regulations in vogue and as amended from time to time.
(b)       The job is transferable within  All India transferability clause (Only for posts in Srl No. 1, 2, 3 and 4). 
(c)        Selected candidates should be ready to accept additional responsibilities usual to a residential public school.
(d)       Permanent absorption will be considered on successful completion of probationary period of one year, extendable to two years.  Retirement age is 60 years of age on superannuation.   Contributory pension as per National Pension Scheme  (Only for posts in Srl No. 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5).
The School administration reserves the right to increase/ decrease/ cancel the vacancy due to administrative/ policy reasons without assigning any reasons whatsoever.  No formal intimation will be given to applicants.
