About the Program

LIC Golden Jubilee Scholarship 2021 from the students who belong to economically weaker sections of society. This scholarship aims to support financially weak students to complete their higher studies through a government or private college/university and thus to enhance their employability. It also covers technical and vocational courses in Industrial Training Institutes/Industrial Training Centres affiliated with the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT). The selected students will receive awards up to INR 20,000 per annum.


To be eligible, an applicant must - 

  • Have passed Class 10/12 exam (or its equivalent) with at least 60% marks (or equivalent grade) in the academic year 2020-21 
  • Have an annual family income of not more than INR 2,00,000 per annum from all sources
  • Be interested (and willing) to pursue higher education in the field of Medicine, Engineering, Graduation in any discipline, Integrated Courses, Diploma Course in any field or other equivalent courses, Vocational Courses through Government recognized Colleges/Institutes, or courses in Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs)

Benefits

The scholarship award includes -

  • An amount of INR 20,000 per annum will be awarded to the selected Regular Scholar and will be payable in three Quarterly installments
  • An amount of INR 10,000 per annum will be awarded for selected Special Girl Child pursuing studies in the 10+2 Course and scholarship shall be payable in three instalments.
